Balmain

Founded in 1945, Balmain opened in May 2019 at Shopping Cidade Jardim, its first own boutique in all of Latin America. With 200 m2 and built according to the concept developed by creative director Olivier Rousteing in partnership with the Studio AMV architecture firm, the space sells maison’s ready-to-wear, handbags and shoes. Among the hits of the brand in Brazil are the six button blazer, a Balmain classic, as well as t-shirts and accessories.
“When the time came to decide where we were going to open maison’s first Brazilian boutique, it wasn’t exactly a difficult decision to make,” explains Massimo Piombini, CEO of Balmain. “Cidade Jardim is clearly the best place in all of Latin America for luxury brands. The address offers the kind of service our customer expects, as well as brands that complement our positioning.
